About AEG Legacy Planning

AEG Legacy Planning is the consumer-facing website of Andreas Empire Group LLC (“AEG”), an independent life-insurance brokerage based in New Jersey.

AEG is not an insurance company and does not underwrite or issue insurance policies. Insurance products are issued by the applicable insurance carrier and are offered through appropriately licensed insurance producers.

AEG does not represent every insurance company or every insurance product available in the marketplace.

Licensing and State Availability

Insurance solicitation, recommendation, application, and placement activity may be conducted only through an insurance producer appropriately licensed for the applicable transaction and, where required, properly appointed or otherwise authorized.

Insurance carriers, products, riders, benefits, underwriting methods, and services are not available in every state or to every applicant. Availability may change.

Access to this Website from a particular state does not mean that AEG, a particular producer, carrier, or insurance product is authorized or available in that jurisdiction.

General Educational Information

Information on this Website is provided for general insurance education and marketing purposes.

Website content is not an insurance policy, binder, conditional receipt, insurance application, guaranteed quote, carrier-approved illustration, legal opinion, tax advice, accounting advice, securities recommendation, investment advice, or guarantee of any financial or insurance result.

If Website information differs from an insurance carrier’s application, illustration, policy, rider, endorsement, disclosure, or other authorized document, the applicable carrier document controls.

No Guarantee of Approval, Pricing, or Coverage

Nothing on this Website guarantees eligibility for insurance, approval of an application, an underwriting classification, a particular premium or rate, a particular amount of coverage or benefit, policy issuance, an effective date, savings, cash-value performance, claim payment, or any other financial or insurance result.

Eligibility, premiums, benefits, coverage amounts, underwriting requirements, policy classifications, and issue decisions depend on the applicable carrier, product, state, applicant information, coverage requested, and other factors permitted by law.

Submitting a Website form, requesting information, receiving a preliminary estimate, or scheduling a consultation does not create or bind insurance coverage.

Coverage becomes effective only as provided by the applicable carrier’s authorized written documents and after all applicable requirements for coverage to become effective have been satisfied.

Final Expense Life Insurance

“Final Expense” refers to life insurance commonly marketed to help address financial needs that may arise at or after death, which may include funeral or burial expenses, outstanding debts, or other family financial needs.

Final Expense insurance is life insurance. It is not a government benefit, Social Security program, prepaid funeral contract, or guarantee that every funeral, burial, medical, debt, or other final expense will be fully paid.

Unless an applicable policy or legally effective arrangement provides otherwise, life-insurance proceeds are paid according to the policy’s beneficiary provisions and are not automatically paid to a funeral home or other provider.

Some Final Expense products may contain graded, modified, or limited death-benefit provisions, waiting periods, exclusions, or other limitations. Those provisions vary by product and carrier. Consumers should review the specific policy and carrier-approved disclosures before purchasing coverage.

Term Life Insurance

Term life insurance generally provides life-insurance coverage for a specified period, subject to the terms of the policy.

Premium guarantees, renewal provisions, conversion rights, coverage periods, benefit amounts, exclusions, and other features vary by policy and carrier.

Term life insurance generally does not accumulate cash value unless the applicable policy expressly provides otherwise.

Whole Life Insurance

Whole life insurance is a form of permanent life insurance when structured and maintained according to the terms of the applicable policy.

Premiums, guarantees, death benefits, cash values, dividends, riders, loans, withdrawals, surrender provisions, and other features vary by carrier and policy.

Any guaranteed values are guaranteed only to the extent expressly stated in the issuing carrier’s policy. Dividends and other non-guaranteed elements are not guaranteed.

Mortgage Protection Using Life Insurance

When this Website refers to “Mortgage Protection,” it refers to the potential use of life insurance as part of a family’s planning for mortgage-related financial needs following the death of an insured person.

The life insurance discussed by AEG is not necessarily mortgage life insurance, mortgage guaranty insurance, private mortgage insurance, a mortgage modification, refinancing product, or lender-protection product.

AEG is not representing that a mortgage lender, mortgage servicer, government agency, or other creditor sponsors or endorses AEG or the insurance discussed on this Website unless that relationship is expressly identified and factually verified.

Unless the applicable policy, beneficiary designation, assignment, or other legally effective arrangement provides otherwise, life-insurance proceeds are generally payable according to the policy’s beneficiary provisions and do not automatically pay, refinance, modify, discharge, or satisfy a mortgage.

The amount of life insurance selected may be greater than, less than, or unrelated to the balance of a mortgage.

Cash Value, Policy Loans, and Withdrawals

Some permanent life-insurance products may accumulate cash value as provided by the policy.

Cash values, surrender values, interest-crediting methods, policy charges, loans, withdrawals, and other values or transactions are governed by the applicable insurance contract and carrier-approved illustration or disclosure.

Policy loans, withdrawals, partial surrenders, unpaid loan interest, and other transactions may reduce policy values or death benefits and, depending on the policy and circumstances, may contribute to policy lapse or have tax consequences.

AEG does not provide tax advice. Consumers should consult an appropriately qualified tax professional regarding individual tax circumstances.

Death Benefits and Claims

A life-insurance death benefit is payable only in accordance with the applicable policy and subject to its terms, exclusions, limitations, contestability provisions, premium requirements, in-force status, beneficiary provisions, claims procedures, and applicable law.

Nothing on this Website constitutes a promise that a particular claim will be approved or paid.

The issuing insurance carrier is responsible for determining and administering claims under the policy it issued.

Insurance Carriers and Products

AEG may work with more than one independent insurance carrier.

Not every carrier or product is available through every producer, in every state, or to every applicant. Carrier appointments and product availability may change.

Carrier names, product names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and may be used only with appropriate authorization.

The appearance of a carrier name or logo does not mean that the carrier endorses every statement made by AEG or that every product issued by that carrier is available through AEG.

Testimonials and Individual Experiences

Any testimonial, review, or consumer experience appearing on this Website reflects the experience or opinion of the person providing it.

A testimonial does not guarantee that another person will receive the same eligibility determination, underwriting classification, premium, coverage, benefit, savings, policy performance, claims result, or other outcome.

Carrier Ratings

If AEG displays an insurance carrier’s financial-strength or other third-party rating, the rating should be accurately identified, current as of the stated date, and attributed to the organization that issued it.

Ratings reflect the rating organization’s opinion under its methodology and are not guarantees of policy performance, claim payment, future financial condition, suitability, or results.

A rating should not be interpreted as an endorsement of AEG or as proof that a particular policy is appropriate for a particular consumer.

No Government, Lender, or Universal-Market Affiliation

AEG is a private insurance brokerage. AEG is not a government agency.

Unless expressly and accurately disclosed, AEG is not affiliated with or endorsed by Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, a mortgage lender or servicer, a funeral home, or any federal, state, or local government agency.

AEG does not represent that it offers every life-insurance carrier or product available in the marketplace.

Individual Review Required

Life-insurance suitability and availability depend on individual circumstances and the applicable carrier and policy.

Consumers should review the specific insurance carrier’s application, policy, illustration when applicable, riders, disclosures, and other authorized documents before making an insurance decision.
